How Pickz Works

Pick a competition, call the scores and beat your mates. Honestly — that is ridiculously easy.

Pickz is a free-to-play football prediction game. There's no gambling and nothing to manage — no transfers, no budgets and no squads like fantasy football. You just predict the scores of real fixtures, earn points and climb the leaderboards. Here's the whole journey, step by step, so you can get playing on Prem Pickz in minutes.

The journey

From new player to leaderboard, in nine steps.

Follow these in order the first time and you'll be making your Pickz within minutes. After that, only steps three onwards repeat each gameweek.

  1. Step 1Choose a competition

    Start with a live competition — Prem Pickz is up and running now. It's a season-long Premier League prediction game, so you can jump in whenever you like.

  2. Step 2Create your account

    Sign up for free in a couple of minutes. No entry fee, no card details — just an account so your points and leagues are saved and follow you every gameweek.

  3. Step 3Make your Pickz

    Head to the predict screen and enter the exact score you expect for every fixture. Your scoreline also sets your result call — home win, draw or away win — so one prediction does both jobs.

  4. Step 4Pick your favourite club

    Choose the team you follow and their fixtures pay bonus points all season, home or away. Don't fancy choosing? One can be assigned at random, and you can change it until the competition locks.

  5. Step 5Meet each fixture deadline

    Each Pick locks one hour before that fixture's own kick-off. Edit as often as you like before then — late changes are rejected, so get your call in with time to spare.

  6. Step 6Score points

    Get 1 point for the correct result and 3 for the exact score, plus favourite-club bonuses on top. See the full breakdown on the rules page.

  7. Step 7Check the leaderboard

    Watch your points land as fixtures finish and see where you stand any time on the leaderboard — both for the gameweek and across the whole season.

  8. Step 8Create or join a private league

    Set up a private league and share your unique invite code, or join your mates' league with theirs. Everyone predicts the same fixtures, and the table tracks the group all season. Need ideas? Learn more about a prediction league.

  9. Step 9Return every gameweek

    Come back before each round of fixtures to lock in your next set of Pickz. A few minutes a week keeps you in the hunt on every board.

Weekly and season-long

Two ways to win at once.

Every point you score counts twice: once on the gameweek board and once on the season-long board. You never have to choose which one to play for.

The weekly game

Each gameweek is its own mini-contest with its own leaderboard, so a hot week can crown you gameweek champion even if you're mid-table overall. It's the perfect way to keep a private league lively from one round of fixtures to the next.

The season-long game

The same points stack onto the season-long board, where consistency wins out over a full campaign. There are also season-long Pickz where you call the final table before it locks — the rules page has the full scoring.
